Did you know that Vancouver is home to the World's Best Chocolate Bar? The Mermaid's Choice bar from Mink Chocolates won that distinction at the 2014 International Chocolate Salon in San Francisco.
Mink, a fixture “on the park” downtown at Hastings and Hornby since they opened in 2007, specializes in hand-crafted ganache chocolate bars. And the Mermaid's Choice, dark chocolate filled with burnt caramel and fleur de sel with a hint of rosemary, has been their most popular chocolate bar since they opened.
