Alinea Dental - Carleton Campus

I’ve been a patient at Alinea Dental for a few years now. After my recent visit I decided to post a review. My previous dentist has always found cavities and recommended expensive dental work. Since I’ve switched to Alinea I’ve not had any drilling done. I believe the honesty of their dentist has strengthen my teeth and cured me from a painful dental experience. Thank you!!

I strongly recommend to get a second opinion before you commit to anything what they offer, especially if it is major dental work. After just one quick look (literally 3 minutes of examination), they told me I need tooth extraction ($1000) and then it is either a bridge (around $1500-2000) or an implant ($6000). Went to another dentist at a different place - and guess what? Turns out my tooth does not need to be extracted and can actually be treated for less money in total.

The worst part of my experience with this clinic was not the brutally incompetent initial examination, nor having to pay again when I immediately went to a new dentist, but the aggressive marketing that results in multiple calls and emails once you’ve made the mistake of using their services and the attitude you get from staff when you tell them to stop calling. Do not waste your time or money on this place!

Had my wisdom teeth done at this place and the doctor that i saw was excellent. I normally do not write these reviews but I was really impressed with my experience.

Suppose to compliment the student and low-income community. Instead, they only accept big money grabbing patients, with only mediocre dental care.
