Haven’t seen a fully honest review yet so here it is... I’ve been to the pub a few times over the past year or so, it’s located in the middle of town which is great... that’s about all that’s good about this restaurant. Service can be very slow and there’s a few servers and even bartenders with an unimaginable level of attitude towards customers. The food is never the same twice. It tastes different looks different and is always plated differently. No consistency here apparently? I’ve had cold

My friend and I went there on a Sat. night for wine and nachos. I live close by and had wanted to go. The smokers standing out front all the time kind of put me off. We sat at the outdoor patio which is in the back hidden. I liked it. The place was packed. The wine and food were good. The nachos were layered. The service was good in the beginning but at the end we were ignored and actually went inside to pay our bill. There are a lot of restaurants in Stouffville, I will most likely eat elsewhere but go there for the party.

Burger was homemade, and char broiled, a little dark on the outside but who wants rare ground beef. Wife had the apple & chicken salad and says it was delicious. Great selection of beer on draft (i think there were more than 15 to choose from). The Pinot was very good as well, the service was great, never missed a beat. I would go back in a heart beat, by far the best place I have been in Stouffville.

Overall a great experience yet again. No bugs in my salad here. No chipped plates. The amount of food for the price is above average. The pub is clean and the staff very friendly. The patio is great in summer.

I am not sure what EmilyH is talking about. Maybe she had the chicken sandwich. Then again.. maybe she writes for the competition in the town. I have lived in Toronto for 30+ years and am relatively new to Stouffville. I know what good food is and The Earl does a good job for this small town unlike the establishment across the road. Excellent overall food and service. I ranked it 7 for food.. but I am HIGHLY critical.. 7 in my books is really very good.
