Chuckwagon Restaurant

I had heard great things about it and was excited to enjoy the experience, when I arrived at the location the renovations looked great. The service was amazing and I would give it a 4 star rating. Chuckwagon was great service, and nice, polite people. The food was great, I had the eggs with sausage, and pumpkin pie. It's the greatest restaurant for to have breakfast at. Try the Chuckwagon.

Had Breakfast Eggs where cold coffee cold homefries where canned potatoes ,and bacon was greasy.I will never go back to the chuckwagon.It use to be very good

The Best Breakfast Ever

I really enjoyed there breakfast special. The Hungrey mans breakfest is the best bang for your buck! I will definitly come back again!!!! I enjoyed the food and coffee alot.

Food was "greasy spoon ok." Place is a real dump though. Needs a complete renovation. Kept looking for the roaches and mice. Terrible coffee. They must be trying to get a few extra cups out of each pound.Won't go back.

excellent breakfast

best omelette anywhere......the servers are great....only complaint is the building is getting a little old and could use a reno...other than that the chuckwagon is my first pick when i am in the area for breakfast

I had ordered the Hungrey Mans Breakfast and the Name says it all. I got 2 huge pancakes 2 eggs the way i wanted them with bacon, ham, sausage and toast. My waitress (I believe her name was Effie) was the sweetest and most efficient waitress. I WILL DEFIENTLEY come back every sunday with the family for breakfast. Well Done!

My wife and I have a short time to get together for lunch and we were very impressed with the quick service and friendly staff. This is not a franchise which makes the food all that more Better. The Soup was home made and the Gravy was definitley NOT FROM A CAN which is rare now a days.

After living in Woodstock for over two years the wife and I decided to check out the Chuckwagon Restaurant after some relatives recommended it. I must say we were very satisfied by the food, it was excellent to be exact!! I had the hamburger steak w/ roaster potatoes and the wife had Veal Parmigiana w/ Spaghetti. To begin we had the garden salad which was very good, and then we had a dinner roll which was the size of a hamburger bun!!! Our main courses came quickly and were warm and tasty. We will definately come again to try out their breakfast which have heard is fantastic too. In the past we had passed on the Chuckwagon as it looked like a run down diner on the outside. However once you are inside and eating you completely forget about the outside appearance.

There is nothing cookie cutter or "chain brand" about the Chuckwagon. I have eaten breakfast here several times since moving to Woodstock and a couple of lunches. While it is nothing fancy, the service is excellent, the food hot and tasty, and the atmosphere homey and relaxed. I like taking friends here. Everyone is pleasantly surprised. It is inexpensive and wholesome "greasy spoon" fare.

The bowl of salad had water in the bottom, it was rusty as well. The potatoes were chunkey, and the atmosphere was very grubby. I'm thinking the gravey was from a can?
