Frozen soup selection is awesome. Dining in the food is great but such a small space and often very busy (for good reason) overall it’s a great place for breakfast (all day) and lunch. The schnitzel chicken fingers are great, grilled cheese, salmon lox and the borscht soup!

Founding owner and Bernstein’s matriarch Marla became known for her classic holiday catering and variety of delicious soups, making Bernstein’s a staple in Winnipeg’s River Heights Community. 30 years later, we maintain those old family recipes while continually working on new creations to serve up to our loyal customers.

I was the happy recipient of a Corned Beef Brisket on Rye sandwich (to go). Not only was the sandwich delicious, so was the Potato Salad (though I do prefer a chunkier style). The Pickle Spears were also delicious and an especially nice touch.
I was very impressed and will be checking the Deli out in person now that I've experienced the high quality of their food! Highly Recommended!
