My 5 star rating is for the food and service. Romero's isn't a fancy place but the food is delicious Authentic Italian made from scratch. Great value for a delicious meal. Frankie's is the kind of place you want to sit for a few hours sharing a bottle of wine and some great food with your sweetie, or a couple of good friends. A warm atmosphere, made all the more romantic with a live guitar player. Wonderful. We had a great table by the window (though chilly - bring your sweater, but the fireplace table looked oh so cozy! The caesar salad was fine, we're garlic fans so wish it had had more, but the greens were well dressed. The bruschetta was good -they found the garlic! The mushroom pasta as definitely the highlight of the meal - lots of expertly prepared fungi swimming in a creamy sauce - yummy! Carbonera pasta was okay - the sauce somehow not as delicious as the mushroom pasta and I wished for more pepper. We skipped dessert, nothing was super appealing - and we were full! Yes, this place on the pricey side for just pasta, but worth it as a treat. Lire plus

My girlfriend ordered veal pizzaiola looked great she enjoyed it, I ordered spaghetti bolognese was rich in flavor and very filling with large portions. Last week we had to organize a sudden meeting for our project with US clients. Due to lack of time we missed out planning for lunch but thanks to my ‘Opentable’ app Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Parmigianino, Spring Lamb with red wine that I found Carmelina Restaurant in Woodbine Avenue. Their event catering service for lunch & evening snacks made me & my team proud on my decision. I wonder how I missed looking this food place for last many years. Thank you Abbas for your cooperation & on-time food catering service with delicious Italian food as our guests loved it. Our first visit to Ithaca was wonderful! We’ll be back and are telling everyone who will listen, what a terrific experience we had. We have been to Mediteraneo several times. Each visit has always delivered an excellent meal. I usually have the Lamb dinner and while you might pay a bit more for this, it is a very large order, with delicious lemon roast potatoes, tzaziki, rice and a greek salad. Enough to share or take home to tmorrows lunch. I have also had the lamb souvlaki dinner and while you might only get one skewer of meat, you also get the rice, potato, salad and tzaziki.
