I have not been to a Jack Astors in some years but was happy with my choice 1 week ago. Both my Husband and I had a salad to start and fish for entree. We both left there very full and satisfied. Now our server was obviously hungover and not doing the greatest job, but there was always a manager, hostess or another server to get what we needed. I was satisfied and would most definitly return.

Being from Alabama, I have had fresh oysters Gulf fresh. I can say hands down, this was the best oysters and fish I have ever had. Service was amazing and food was priced fairly. 10/10 recommend.

WOW!!!! My party and I were impressed.
I have had the pleasure of a couple of Friday night specials and I will be back. The polenta & duck with spaghetti alla chitarra, rapini, mixed rucula salad, focaccia and desert were a dining experience on par with some of Italy's finest restaurants I've had the pleasure to enjoy. The service was timely and curteous and full value for the money

Love this place. Can't believe I never noticed it before.
Huge portions, reasonably priced and fresh food. I loved the fireplace and so did my wife. It was a little dark in the restaurant but our waitress went over all the foods with us without even looking at the menu, and even suggested wines that would go good with our meals.
Our waitress "Corrine" was AMAZING!! You could tell from the minute she served us she was well educated about the restaurant and foods, and knew how to handle a very large restaurant on her own.
I even watched her jump on the bar as we were leaving to help them clean up.
We will be back and ask to sit in her section as she was informative and pleasant.

I stop here ocasionaly when I take my bike following the hydro-line bicycle path. Every time I do stop here, I don't regret it at all!! The food is great, the servers are very patient and the atmosphere has a very compfortable local feel. I suggest ordering the McWindmill when you go there.

Been here a few times and will return.
Staff is amazing. Food is very good Mediterranean.
Location and venue is nothing to brag about.

What most people don't realize is that the resteraunt is not just a sit down resteraunt where you can expect someone to come, you need to let any employee at all that youre going to eat if you don't see one on your way down to the resteraunt from the front desk.
if you can do that, you can get great service, food, time

I don't usually do these reviews. I also drove from Oakville to this restaurant for take out, a lot of thai restaurants close to me are closed on Mondays. This was the best chicken pad thai I have had, I will drive here again any day of the week. Lots of chicken and really tasty!
