This is the best fish and chips that I've ever tried in Toronto. (I went there on the advice of a friend and would have never have gone here without that recommendation). I ended up at this restaurant today because I was craving a pork souvlaki but have been constantly disappointed by anything in Etobicoke. I found it on this site – there were so many over the top reviews that I thought they must be phony. However, once I read the review where someone had an argument with the owner over coleslaw juice getting on their fries and said they’d never go back (but admitted it was the best fish and chips in Toronto) I knew this place must be good. Well I didn’t have the fish and chips but WOW – I had the best pork souvlaki I’ve had in years. The Greek salad was simple with a really fresh dressing. My friend had never been to this restaurant and I wanted her to experience it. The food is fabulous. I've never had the fish and chips but if it's as good as the Thai food, it should be excellent. The food is so fresh and tasty. My friend was amazed at how good something as simple as spring rolls and fried wontons could be... and the sauces. I enjoy the less "conventional". The salad rolls are wrapped in large rice noodles and served with peanut sauce. The "Lemon Grass" soup has fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with a selection of chicken, shrimp or fish for $3.99.
