A few years ago, Morgan L. Wolf noticed that dog care and boarding services were almost exclusively kennels in the Edmonton area. She knew there was a better way. “I have always loved animals. I have three dogs myself,” says Morgan. “In Edmonton, if I wanted my dog cared for, it had to go to a kennel – that’s all there was. I wanted something more familiar and friendly for the animals, so I quit my job at the post office and started taking in dogs for regular daycare.”
The business, called Little Paws Inn, started in Morgan’s own living room but soon grew to the point where she needed more space. Now with a dedicated facility, the business has expanded beyond daycare and boarding services. Now, pet owners can come by for grooming services, training courses and even pet reiki.
