Unbelievably Poor
Expect the service to be awful if they are even remotely busy... mind you, that seems to be a standard at any restaurant in Slave Lake. The food used to be somewhat tolerable, however, LouLou's has just updated their menu and having eaten there just the other day, my advice is to stay as far away as you can. All four of our meals were DISGUSTING and AWFUL! One of us ordered the lamb, which was one of the worst pieces of meat I've ever seen and was undercooked to boot... this meal also came with a side of salad to start (which was awful, some sort of combination between a Greek salad and a pita dip), and then another full salad came with the actual meal... why? Another of us ordered the portobello mushroom burger, which is under the burgers section of the menu with all the other burgers but what the menu does not tell you is that you are ordering a burger that has no meat. Another of us ordered the pichasio salmon which was horrendously overdone with pachasios... this meal came with garlic bread? and a quinoa and date side, which was dry and disgusting. Oh, and to boot, all of our waters had floaties in them. I would highly avoid this restaurant at all costs, they clearly have no idea what they are doing.
