I am so sick of people complaining about this restaurant. There is nothing wrong with it. I have been there many times with other people and have had no problems. Sometimes when you get there the buffet needs to be restocked, but it does get restocked. And every time I go there, it's always really busy. They seat you right away, and are always coming by to clear used dishes and refill drinks. The food is good, and you can't beat the price!

Lots of improvements

They've really been fixing up the place. The bathrooms needed repair and they are clean and functional. The chicken wings have been larger lately. Big plump and juicy. Lots of meat dishes out and they keep the trays loaded up. The peppered beef with onion and green pepper is amazing. One thing we found amusing is that the chicken on a stick has no stick. So... I guess it is just chicken. I love this place and I like to tip for the good service. I seldom eat Chinese food anywhere else.

Not so great

Not a huge fan of West Garden, I think that they should think of changing up their food more than once/lunch or dinner. The food is so boring, it's the same thing everyday.

Great place

Almost didn't go bc of some of the reviews here. Went anyway with the family and we all had a great time. It's not 5 star but you know that going in. Bur it's a great place that allows a family to go out for a reasonable $ and yet have good food. We were thankful for the service for the food and for the whole outing. A few iIce cream tubs could be replaced but for the rest we were satisfied. Well done, staff! And thank you.

Our standby Chinese food in Brantford. We love the value. The staff, food, and atmosphere are consistant. The quality of the food is good; the prices are great. I'd take West Garden any day :) I don't love the lemon chicken, but that's the only thing I'm so-so on.
