Do not eat here, seriously. Have been there three times and each one has been worse than the time before. To start, their vegetarian dishes (pad thai, coconut veg rice) are cheap in the ingredients (two pieces of tofu in the pad thai) and incorrect (coconut rice had no coconut flavour and had string tiny pieces of chicken). The pad thai was also incredibly dry and one note--hot. The vegetarian spring rolls ordered were with meat. On a previous visit, a dish --cashew veg stir fry were simply bland noodles with cucumber (were they out of ingredients) and a side of gross sauce. This place is gross. Save your money. This food tastes more like chinese food masquerading as thai. The only good thing about this place is that it provides plenty of conversation about its awfulness.
At first, I was reluctant to go to the restaurant since my mom mentioned to me that she heard of there being a write up about the restaurant, and it wasn't a good one either. So my mom advised me from going to the place, however I took my chances and went anyways after I finished volunteering at Big Brothers & Sisters of Clarington coming back from Mother Teresa Catholic School. I was a Thai food virgin, so I decided to try the Coco Peanut Chicken, and it was DELICIOUS. Best chicken and combination I had ever had in my life, for dessert I heard that the deep fried banana was to die for. Let's just say that the person who told me this was RIGHT!! I LOVE deep fried banana now for dessert, I will go back for sure and tell my friends about this place. Overall, I'm glad I took my chances and went to this place :).
I love this place, whether I am dining in or taking out. I have not once been disappointed with the food, and the employees are very friendly and fun.
What AN AWESOME restaurant serving amazing food. Very well decorated with chic décor and nice ambience paired with friendly and excellent service. We had just moved to Courtice the last six months and were introduced to this little “gem” Thai Hotspot in Courtice through our friends who had ordered take-out from them. Since then we probably had 3-4 take-outs ourselves before deciding to dine there. What a great experience we had and we were glad we had the opportunity to have dinner there. We had a fantastic dinning experience. We arrived there on Friday and it was packed but they managed to find seats for us. Despite the overwhelming busyness, the server and manager on the floor still take time to check on our table. The staff is very professional because when we placed our orders, we informed our server that my spouse has an allergy to peanuts and we noticed right away that the manager on the floor was informed about my wife’s special needs. My spouse is very hard to please and is very critical when it comes to food and cleanliness but she has nothing but praise for the friendly service and the special attention to her meals and has been raving to her friends about the hottest restaurant in town. Everything we had was delicious and very well presented. We were blown away with the creative presentation of foods. They have a wide selection of foods from non-spicy to very spicy foods and also a small selection for vegetarians. We especially like their signature Pad Thai. It is spicy and it has lots of flavor too. We have tried other Thai restaurants’ Pad Thai which is clumpy and sweet and nothing else even come close to what they offer. The price is reasonably and the portion is just perfect. We are very happy to have this restaurant in our neighborhood and we will certainly spread the word around to help them be successful. But I think even without our help they are already doing very well and this is evident in their service, freshness of food, amazing flavors and pleasant ambience. If you are planning to dine in, I think it’s best to make reservation as they are getting very popular.
My husband and myself were very impressed and have been back several times for both take out and sit down meals. My husband is a chef and is extremly critical and hard to please. We rarely eat in the Durham Region due to a lack of decent restaurants. Here however, there were no complaints. The food was hot, fresh produce, tasty ..if not delicious and the best thing was it was authentic. The mango salad with a roti is just incredible and main course's, well I have tried many and so far absolutely NO complaints. Kudos to the Chef and to the very friendly and caring owners who go out of their way to make you comfortable.
