Valley Fields Restaurant has been a family-owned and operated establishment since 2007. Current co-owner George Petrou took over the popular neighborhood eatery eight years ago. "We built up the business," George explains. "It wasn’t very busy when we took it over. We grew the clientele to more of an all-ages customer base. I now cater more to families, the younger generation and the older generation...We offer a mix of everything."
Initially, George relied on friends to help spread the word. "I focused on my food, both the quantity and quality, and gave good service," he explains. "I've built the business slowly, and year by year we are getting busier and busier."

I go here every week and so far everything I have tried is fantastic, the staff is so friendly and they know what I order now! Breakfast on the weekends be prepared for a lineup but it will be worth the wait!!!!
Went here for breakfast based on the pretty good reviews I read on this site. Breakfast was no better than it should be, just adequate. Won't be going back because of their orange juice, it was the nastiest, sourest OJ I've ever been served, not consumable, and I like decent orange juice with my brekky. A cook kept coming out and staring at the people in the restaurant. Simply rude, unprofessional and tacky. Turnoff #1: When I nicely sent the orange juice back, with an explanation, the waitress actually said nothing, but made a face and looked at me. Utterly unprofessional and rude service, they punish you if you complain by giving you a glare. Turnoff #2: They deep-fry their home fries, they aren't crisped on the grill -- Hey! Maybe you are fooling peoples' tastebuds, but you're not fooling their arteries. Perhaps you could INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS that you deep-fry the home fries, so they know what's going into their bodies? Turnoff #3: Spent the entire meal being stared at by one of the cooks, who stood in full view in front of the kitchen doors, on the restaurant side. If you like being stared at by the cook that just made your meal, THIS IS THE PLACE TO EAT!
Love this place! Best breakfast in Toronto. They also have a lunch and dinner menu. The food is always fantastic. Breakfast with coffee will run you $7.50. Depending on what you order for lunch/dinner, will be a bit more. The place is always clean and the food is always fresh. Great mom and pop shop. Been a regular for more than a year now. Highly recommended.
I usually cheap out and eat breakfast at McDonalds, but this place does a fairly affordable, very filling, properly-made breakfast. It explains the usual throng of regulars and I should definitely eat there more often. It's almost worth the coronary.
my fav place for brunch. they have the best breakfast i have found in toronto. good portions for the price. great! i would reall recomend it for breakfast of brunch.
