Been here a number of times and rarely receive good service. It can take up to 10 minutes for anyone to approach your table, they will wait a half hour before coming to check if you need a refill. All of this when the bar isn't even busy. When we waited 20 mins for the check one time we just left cash on the table and left. The next time we came back the manager (I think) scolded us and said we should come get her at the bar if we need anything. What's the point of going out then? ALSO ITS LOUD

Glum atmosphere. Loud yobs at bar with limited and rude vocabularies. But most importantly the food was tepid, greasy and bland.

Three couples went to the Royal Oak in Orleans this morning. As as a result, we will not be repeating a visit. Why? When we entered the restaurant when it opened, we were not acknowledged and it took some time before the waitress arrived and offered coffee. We waited about an hour from the time the orders were placed until we received our meals. One of the orders was not correct, but was reluctantly accepted. The coffee was not good at all.

I've been to this place many times and i admit in the past I've been disappointed. proximity alone kept us going back until recently; There has been a complete change in atmosphere. Over the last Month or so the service has improved as has the food quality! The Servers look like they're happy to be there and genuinely happy to have you there, big smiles and all! We go back every week!!!!

Waitress was disinterested, food appears to have been mass-produced, frozen and heated in a microwave - entirely disappointing. Any decent chef would cringe. Where's the fresh ingredients?
