My friends and I went to Cafe Moroc for Summerlicious. I had the Matfoul for appetizer, which is a hand rolled "Moroccan Cigars", hot crispy pastry stuffed with a mixture of mildly spiced beef, cashews and raisins, topped with chipotle aioli. That was okay... I wasn't blown away by it. I ordered the Lamb Shank for my entree. It was tender but once again, I thought it was just average... wasn't exceptional nor bad. I ordered the creme brulee and that was, again, just ok. The crust of the brulee was too hard. But the fixed price menu was only 25 bucks so I'd go there again (for summerlicious). My friends and I will go there again for Sultan's Tent because we want to experience the ambiance inside as opposed to being at the bar. But I won't be expecting anything too exceptional food wise.
